Reassure the customer that Freshtxt will not share their name or number with anyone and that a text message will only be sent when their table is ready. If they are still hesitant to provide their number, a automated voice call can be sent (not available in all packages), an existing pager system can be used if you have one, or they can choose to wait in the lobby.
A Server or Busser will use the Table Clear app to let the Host know that a table is again ready for seating.
Just click the Seated Guest button on the main queue screen and choose the party to add back to the queue. You can also click the Help Area tab in the Freshtxt application for video tutorials and answers to other questions.
Yes, Freshtxt is compatible with a Windows based Tablet, in both touch screen and browser mode. For touch screen, the device must have Flash Player installed and the user must click on "Touchscreen Mode" when they login. Once logged in, the touchscreen keyboard can be activated by clicking on the mini keyboard on the bottom right of the screen. NOTE: While touchscreen is neat, experience has shown using a keyboard and mouse is faster.
The reservations for the day are displayed in the right hand column of the main queue. You can seat guests right from there, or choose to add them to the queue and they will remain silver so you know they had a reservation. You can also click the Help Area tab in the Freshtxt application for video tutorials and answers to other questions.
Simply click on the guest in the queue and choose edit details. Once you are done, click the save changes button. You will automatically return to the queue.
The system automatically clears the lists overnight so that you may start fresh the next day.

The virtual keyboard does not work natively in the iPad. Instead use the iPad's keyboard that is used for the secondary apps.
